Mads.com is the leading mobile advertising technology provider in Europe. Mads enables with their cutting edge technology operators, content providers and agencies to serve advertisements in all kinds of different forms, like mobile internet, SMS, MMS and video. As more and more internet is access through native iPhone applications, a clear demand arose to be able to serve advertisements in native iPhone apps.
D17 was asked to design and develop a software development kit (SDK) for third party iPhone developers. This SDK enables developers to integrate advertisements (text, images, combinations) easily in their applications with just a few lines of code. It allows them to respond to user activity in various forms, like opening an in-app browser window, call a number or send an SMS message. As part of the SDK a demo app was created to show the use of the SDK in it's various forms and serve as example for the third party developers.
Soon the first apps will be published in iTunes.
